Ashley Flo, NP

Ashley graduated from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BBA- Marketing with a concentration in hospitality and tourism.  She knew she wanted a career in healthcare to follow in her father’s footsteps, but started out on the business side for her first years of her career.

She soon felt the calling to become more involved on the direct patient care side of healthcare, so she went to nursing school to start her path towards becoming an Advanced Practice NP.  She earned her Associate’s of Science, Nursing degree from Middle GA State University in 2013.  She worked as a RN for 6 years in the Cardiac unit and Emergeny Department at Piedmont Athens Medical Center while working towards her Master’s Degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner degree).

In October 2018, Ashley graduated from South University in Savannah, Ga with a MSN, Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner program) and then went on to earn her FNP certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in March 2019. Since that time, she has been refining her clinical skills as a nurse practitioner through opportunities in Primary Care, Hospice, and Urgent Care roles.

Ashley is a native of Louisiana, but moved to GA when she was 12 and calls GA her home.  In her spare time, she loves to stay busy traveling with family and friends, spending time with her family, cooking, playing tennis, going to the lake, watching her daughter play volleyball, reading, and of course UGA football. Go DAWGS!
